I'm using kernel 2.6.23.1 together with the drm-modules from git as of commit
309b2c4c05d02a7e7311a9491b74044f6c7f06a4.
Hardware: intel i945GM.
Switching back to console from X.Org turns display on for the console, but
switching back turns it off again.
