[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |REJECTED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Comment #6 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-06-26 06:01 ------- Hi folks, after some more digging it seems pm-suspend on my machine is back-ending to s2ram, from the uswsusp package. I haven't tried to dig into s2ram to establish why it prevents the backlight coming back up, but this suggests the kernel is fine: echo mem > ... worked fine, and pm-suspend in the absenceof s2ram works fine. I'm sorry for wasting your time. I'm a little miffed myself (back-ending to s2ram by default if present is a debian-specific alteration to the pm-utils package, so I will have to write a similar apology to the bug there.) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
