really not a dri-devel problem. and I doubt its a gpu problem, we don't load udev module on 2.6.26 at all... only the latest 284 version fedora-test-list is the place for this ... or just file a Fedora bug. You can try booting with text on the command line.. with 284 to avoid kenel modesetting it needs more testing on old laptop chipsets from the looks of it..
