One more thing, /proc/mtrr shows

reg00: base=0x00000000 (   0MB), size=2048MB: write-back, count=1
reg01: base=0x7ff00000 (2047MB), size=   1MB: uncachable, count=1

SO the last line goes from 0x7ff00000 to 0x8000000 and thus the memory range
requested to be mapped uncached is uncached, so not sure why ioremap thinks it
is write-back. Unless the first line takes precedence. (??)
