I'm planning to merge this to master soon. It's still pretty raw, but at this point it will run gears and most of the basic demos. It shares a lot of the common radeon code so I'd like to get it merged sooner rather than later to avoid the need to constantly keep it up to date with the latest changes in master. It currently needs a special drm branch to actually function, but it should build against libdrm from master. Consider it experimental like r300g for now. Let me know if you have any objections.
