Yes, very much so.  the Chrome9 graphics core exists in the VX800/820 and
VX855/875 chipsets, all of which exclusively support VIA's own CPUs.  The
VIA Nano CPU fully supports x86_64, so we have all combinations of:

32bit kernel + 32bit userspace
64bit kernel + 32bit userspace
64bit kernel + 64bit userspace

So yes, this driver will need quite a bit of fixing esp. for the 64bit kernel /
32bit userspace case.
