The JSON format for the logical and physical plans is needed to transmit the
plans throughout a drill cluster . Currently the serialization and
deserialization operations are not capable of being used in conjunction with
one another to effectively accomplish this with all plans. We need to fix the
current bugs with plans that are unable to be serialized and read back in and
then develop a testing mechanism that will ensure the operation stays symmetric
as we modify and improve the structure of both plans.
