I need to look at this and figure out where exactly the lines are drawn between the nfo and the nge. It seems the nge would handle some of the devices that the nfo does, in that the nfo does handle some gige adapters with a 10/100 PHY. My gut tells me that the nge needs to be updated to support the same devices as the nfo. Maybe Masa has an idea about the nfo vs. nge. I know there are devices that will load the nge, but the network doesn't seem to function correctly, and many of those will be able to use the nfo successfully.
