Gotcha.

I guess what threw me was hackintr_f (dnet.c:358) tracks multiple 
gld_mac_info_t instances (up to 8).

Makes sense. If one were to come across a NIC that needs this, would it 
make sense to re-use the mac_register_t instance between mac_register() 
calls (after making the appropriate modifications)?
