So ... has anyone tried to fix this? Has the issue been escalated? It looks like JJ (who left Sun some time ago) initially asked to have it shipped as binary and source. And then someone else attached "Sun internal use only" onto the request for reasons that haven't been disclosed. This almost certainly isn't the right list on which to be discussing our internal legal review process, but it still seems rather silly to me to ship software that's broken as designed, because it depends on something that users are on their own to dig up. Is someone on your team going to follow this up, or do you really believe that shipping half of the software is "good enough?" -- James Carlson, Solaris Networking <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 35 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ driver-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/driver-discuss
