Thanks for the _fast_ reply! Oh, I've read about that kind of workaround
a few times before with different hardware, but as I thought this "bug"
is somewhat different and that there would be a "No, I will not work
with this card!" function in the driver or something else, I didn't
think it would work :)
But that said, glad that I was wrong! Does this fix work with the
installer CD as well? Like fireing up a xterm there, issueing the
command? Is it the same driver for 3112 and 3512 chips? I want to
install opensolaris to the two discs on that controller (playing around
with ZFS) so I need to convince the driver to accept this card from day
one :) and as I am new to OpenSolaris I am a bit lost and don't find the
the answers for all my questions... as said I am new to the solaris way,
please bear with me... a direction to the correct manual is ok too :)
