I'm considering a "fork-lift" upgrade of our aging PC (ca 5years old), and
have come across a tempting offer on ebay. Although the main OS running on
this machine will not be Solaris (until something like Photoshop Lightroom
comes along for Solaris (pointers, anyone? ;-), anyway), I would at least
like to know about the odds of being able to run (Open)Solaris on this box
(virtualisation scenarios abound ...)

To save people the effort of following a link, here's some specs - I'd
appreciate pros/cons and especially hands-on experience with the various
pieces of HW:

CPU AMD Phenom X4 Quad-Core 9950 AM2+ 2.6GHz 4MB 125W
Motherboard MSI K9N2GM-FD (AM2+,GeForce 8200,Hybrid SLi,4DDR2,Raid)
Video Card NVIDIA GEFORCE 9400GT Super 512MB (Palit)
Network Card Onboard Gigabit Ethernet LAN

TIA
Michael
