It appears 3Ware 9650SE and 9690SA are supported as of February for
OpenSolaris 2008.11 32bit and 64bit x86 releases:

I have not tried them yet but they hopefully allow publishing each
single disk as a separate LUN (JBOD) while still allowing the built in
battery-backed 256MB RAM journal functionality.  At 8x lanes for the
12,16, and 24 port models, they should have sufficient bandwidth for
RAIDZ2.
