Thunderbird really screwed it up when I asked it to forward my original reply. Don't bother decoding the bits, they're complete garbage. At this point, my original reply has been "lost" in the noise.
"Participating" in this forum is "challenging" for me... far more so than any other OpenSolaris forum. I know the reason why. And its trivially solvable. But our illustrious "moderator" has decided he knows best. He's even refused my offer to help him with moderating the list.
Right now the list is effectively "unmoderated" -- the list owner has it set on fire-and-forget mode with it just bouncing all messages from any e-mail address that is not subscribed.
None of the other OpenSolaris discussions I'm involved with (and I engage in a number of them) have this particular problem.
Anyway, if the other members feel as I do, they are welcome to request a change. I've volunteered to step and help out as a moderator, but cannot do so with the current moderator in place (he's denied my requests and my offers of help.)

Hello! Not to rain on your parade Garret, but all I saw (above) was what looked like raw uuencoded data. That's right, the same stuff used to send binaries inside e-mail and UseNet before the creation of different compression styles. And without the keys that tell the program to decode it. Images of course are still sent that way, but you'd be surprised what is sent via those compressed methods. I do hope you don't leave this list. ----- Gregg C Levine [email protected] "This signature was once found posting rude messages in English in the Moscow subway."
