Hello Germano,
The good news is the Silicon Image 3726/4726 port multiplier are
supported while the bad news is that at the host the port multiplier
support is only available for ahci(7D) HBA driver at present. The
sil3124(7D) is still on the list.
To let port multiplier work with your box on Solaris, please make sure
you're using Intel AHCI compatible SATA controller like
ICH9/ICH10/Ibexpeak. Need to note, some old Intel's controllers, e.x.
ICH6/ICH7/ICH8 do not support port multiplier by hardware. Fortunately,
nowadays most motherboards on the market are using Intel's new
south-bridge chipsets.
Thanks,
Xiaoyu

Hi Xiao-yu Zhang,
I'm up to snv_118 and would love to try your driver, if you can spare a copy.
My particular setup is a PC with two SiI 3132 that connect to an
enclosure with two SiI3726 which each serve five disc drives as a ZFS
RAIDZ2. Hoping your driver covers this ;-)
Needless to say, I have been following

and the threads here with great interest for the last 6 months.
Friendly greetings,
Germano Caronni
