You can try to clone from http://hg.genunix.org/onnv-gate.hg. The genunix repo was faster for me (India) compared to the repo at opensolaris.org. Once the clone is done, you can switch to hg.opensolaris.org for future pull and update either by updating ".hg/hgrc" file or manually running "hg pull -u http://hg.opensolaris.org/hg/onnv/onnv-gate";.
