/me starts flame war... It's up for a very esoteric debate if openssl is merely linked to as a library installed separately on the system. However, as the original rights holder in this case (Sun) already has code in their version of this tree to link with openssl should it exist, it would be very hard to argue that they find it a violation of their rights under the GPL for us to also link against OpenSSL. However...
