Hi guys,

So I've started working on getting rid of mystring dependencies from libdrizzle and came across something I wanted to ask about. While I was replacing strmov() with strcpy() where ever I could (those that dont rely on the return pointer of strmov) from libdrizzle.c, I realized that 'drizzle_list_dbs' isn't actually used by anything...

What is the story with this? If it isn't being used by the client then should I throw it out? we could always easily throw it back in if the new client library needs this functionality since all it does is appends "show databases" with wildcard and queries it against drizzle.

Cheers,
Toru

I think you can safely remove it from the library. libdrizzle won't be fully compatible with libmysql's API and it's time to get rid of such wrappers. As well as mysql_db_name if it's present as drizzle_db_name, create_db, drop_db, list_fields, list_table, list_processes and mysql_stat() even, as it crashes the server (there will be better ways to report statistics from the server).

Best,
Andrey
