All of this is true, and I would not take any of them without this
being the case. I believe that anyone working on this should see this
as being fine.
Seeing how I_S needs to go through a few revisions, I would rather not
see any more get added until then.

I say at this point the best way to approach the Google MySQL
patches is
to take the general ideas/concepts from the patches and apply those
concepts where they fit in Drizzle.
-1 on applying patches from Google on Drizzle development line at
this time.
