Hi Jay, I completed the first phase of the new client lib, so all non-cached queries work now. There is a more detailed blog entry about it here:
http://www.oddments.org/?p=23 Going through the MySQL protocol bit by bit was quite fun, noting ambiguities and inefficiencies to address in the new Drizzle protocol. :) I sent an email to the list in regards to features for the new protocol and received some good feedback. There are still some unaddressed issues I'd like to see discussed sometime soon. Oh, and I'll be giving a short talk at the OpenSQL Camp (http://opensqlcamp.org/) about the library. I'm sure there will also be other Drizzle related discussions! -Eric On Fri, Oct 10, 2008 at 01:05:09PM -0400, Jay Pipes wrote: > Hi all! > > I'm gonna be getting back on track with the previously-title "Last Week > in Drizzle" series on my blog. > > Feel free to let me know things you're interested in, coding up, > testing, hating, loving, and anything else!
