I think we shouldn't take any particular steps to _disallow_ symlinks.
symlinks are pretty standard on unix, and unix admins like to use them
when they want to. When I make a symlink to something and a program
doesn't understand how to deal with it, I consider it fundamentally a
bug, and often times I stop using such buggy software.

That being said - we need to _add_ stuff into drizzle to let people
solve the fundamental problem without needing them.

But please don't use O_NOSYMLINK. It's just mean.
