I use *slap to generate a lot of load tests for me/benchmarks for me.
I've taken a couple of core pieces and published them up to:

This is really low end at the moment, since most of the scripts are
not really understandable by anyone other then me. My goal though is
to publish scripts as I write them so that anyone who wants to
reproduce what I have done can just grab the script from LP and make
use of it. There is also a really primitive version of the web scripts
I use on some of my hosts (aka I drop a web interface that allows me
to run a benchmark from remote on a host).
Feel free to contribute if you are interested. I dropped most of the
junkier scripts and really just left the ideas to what I do.
