Hah - I was just writing that email too.

It doesn't trip me up anymore, but even after ~10 years I still think "what the hell - how dumb is this" every time I type "-P" rather than "-p" for port number (which I use all the time; passwords on the command line should be the hard one to type).

Maybe make -p for port and only keep a long version (--password) for password.

Let the bike-shedding begin!
