Hi!
Open a bug and attach the config log to the bug report (there's a
"Attach file" area). That would probably be easiest I think.

No. If you installed them from packages I expect them to be found. They
are in /usr/include/uuid/uuid.h?
Could you look in config.log for the bit where it looks for uuid and

libuuid dev packages. :) On Debian this is the 'uuid-dev' pkg,
probably something similar on Fedora.
