After Kay pointed out that OSX does, in fact, ship with gcc 4.2, I'd like to ratchet up the version requirement for gcc to 4.2. We should be good to go on recent Ubuntu, Fedora and OSX, and all the machines I have access to are fine.
Does anyone have a machine without at least 4.2 that they are actually using for working with Drizzle?
