-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Leslie!
I'm cc'ing the Drizzle discussion list so the many students and mentors can hear your response :) As you may know, Drizzle is a project based on the MySQL code base and we have a fairly active community of contributors. There have been a number of students interested in working on Drizzle projects during the GSoC. We need a little help, however, figuring out how we need to fit into the mentoring/project organization. I believe that Drizzle projects have been submitted under the MySQL mentoring umbrella, but wanted to know if it's a) possible or b) recommended for us to manage our GSoC projects under a separate group? We have mentors ready to go; we've got students ready to go; we've got a list of Ideas and submissions, and we've got a couple folks who have volunteered to be GSoC administrators. What should the Drizzle community do, from now until Friday, the deadline for project submissions? If you could provide us a response letting us know if there is anything we need to do which would make administering Drizzle projects separate from the MySQL umbrella easier, that would be great! Cheers, and thanks in advance Leslie!
