OK, nothing to do with drizzle, but very, very interesting. Story at

The really interesting parts:
* Boards are dual socketed. I wonder if they'd do that again.
* Power supplies are 12V.
* UPS is battery per server
* Servers have heat sink fans but no other cooling.
* Servers aren't FCC-ed -- no enclosed cases at all.
* Servers are packaged into shipping containers, 1,160 servers per
* Cooling and power seem to be at shipping container level.
Probably also FCC compliance
No blades, no NUMA, no exotica. Cheap and expendable.
New buzzword: Scale to shipping containers. Does drizzle?
