Scoreboard design. This is what I have done in the past (and it is
what projects like Apache do).
Setup a chunk of memory, and do not locking writes/reads from it. It
means that the data is not "exact" but it is fast.
This is a "pick one" sort of problem. We need cheap more then we need
"exact" details.
