We now have crash-me running and integrated into the Drizzle Automation
framework. Big thanks to Patrick and Jay again for their assistance.
crash-me is a perl script that runs a wide range of checks to determine
the limits of your database, and yes, it currently crashes Drizzle! When
trying to do a select with over 1M characters drizzle falls over. This
cascades into a few other failures so for now I've manually set the
limit to 1M until this bug is resolved. I've filed bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/drizzle/+bug/419350 which Eric assures me
will be fixed in his upcoming protocol work. There are a few other hazy
areas in the test results that I'm currently looking at to see if there
are other bugs lurking.
