Hi!

How do I determine that? SHOW VARIABLES reports

disable pool of threads? I suspect that 1:1 will provide better
performance for this workload.
Turns out there is a regression in the system which is not allowing us
to report which one is active. I've got the bug assigned out to
someone to fix over the next couple of days.
As far as pool goes... we know that is has some issues. For some
workloads it works well, for others? It can be a turd. We have had one
GSOC student working on it and Eric's work on the IO system should
change some of that.
I'm not sure what to say about the upper end numbers. We had to work
with the Sun performance team for a couple of weeks before we could
get good numbers (aka... show the sort of changes we see in
performance with our own benchmarks). Right now there are only a few
of us who can set Drizzle up correctly and know how to do a comparison
run between us and anything.
But then... we aren't production yet :)
