Eric Day: Drupal Camp PDX
I just proposed sessions for Drizzle and Gearman to Drupal Camp PDX coming up this weekend in Portland, OR. I’ve only used Drupal for a couple small sites I helped out with, but I’ll be talking about what Drizzle and Gearman can bring to current or future Drupal development. For example, today you could easily write Drupal modules that used Gearman to distribute work out to other machines either for real time processing or as asynchronous queues. For Drizzle, we’ll eventually want to get it added as a supported database backend.
