We are only supporting a subset of the 3.23 MySQL protocol (aka...
sorta looks like MiniSQL). Basically enough for us to run testing on
while we make more radical changes to the main protocol. We won't be
supporting the full range of what is even in 3.23 so don't waste your
time bothering with drivers at this point/etc (including the admin
commands that are on the wire).
