Hi, We're a team of students at Portland State University that are lucky enough to be working with Eric Day on the CLI for the Drizzle project. We will be rebuilding the CLI from the ground up and would like some feedback from you. To this end, we would like to invite your feedback on our project either through this list or at the upcoming OpenSQL Camp.

Design Philosophy: Our overall design for this project will be from a page of DSP methodology. We'll be creating the CLI such that it is a well defined set of producers, filters and sink modules. The base example: Producer which is a connection to the Drizzle DB -> blank Filter -> data Sink that write the results to the screen. Expanded Example: Producers that reads past results from file -> Filter that greps the results -> Sink that writes back to file. We will be building all this so that you may easily create new modules to put in line. -What are some interesting ideas for any of the Producer, Filter and Sink modules. -What are some larger combinations of modules that you can invision having a use for you?
