Hey all, Protobuf is about to cut 2.3.0 - if anybody wants to poke at it before it releases, this is our chance. I'm going to do the Solaris testing and stuff tonight.

Since everything went smoothly, I have some extra time in which I'm going to try to get some new utility classes ported out from our internal repo.
