So I'm a big fan of the information_schema even with some of the shortcomings with it in MySQL. I know Drizzle's implementation will be vastly superior, but one thing that really bugs me about the i_s is that it is so long to type. When I want to run an ad-hoc query having to type information_schema.TABLES or something along those lines is sort of annoying. Has there been any thoughts to making an alias to the information_schema database? Say something like i_s?
Sort of a random suggestion, and perhaps unimportant at this juncture but, man, I type that thing all the time and given that it's usually the longest database name on a typical server I encounter, it would be so nice to see a short-hand for it :) Just a thought :) Tim S. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~drizzle-discuss Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~drizzle-discuss More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
