That's entirely possible,  yeah.

Amusingly, we're in the midst of a Fusion-io deployment now and are
expecting to consolidate several DBs onto a single host in our clusters just
to take advantage of all that I/O.  Many of our clusters aren't even close
to making use of all the "free" seeks.
