I'm new to Drizzle (been using MySQL for 9 year, however). I've successfully compiled and installed the latest release on OS X 10.6.7 and I'm impressed with what I have seen so far. I've read that Drizzle supports query rewrite. That's what drew my interest to it, since I use that feature quite a bit in the Oracle data warehouse world.
After much research and poking around, I've come to the conclusion that query rewrite functionality does not currently exist in Drizzle, but the pieces are in place to accommodate a query rewrite plugin in the future. Is that a fair conclusion? If I'm wrong about that, can someone point me in the right direction?
