When making changes and additions to the RST documentation, please do a "make distcheck" as well as "make test" before submitting your work for merge. And make sure you have the the latest version of Sphinx, or at least the lastest version packaged for your OS distrubution.
The RST docs are not built by make or by make test, they are built by make distcheck. And our RST build process, like our compile process, is set to have warnings treated as errors. Other notes about RST docs: Format the text so it breaks cleanly for an 80 column terminal. Make section title underlines properly line up. Like this ====== Not Like This ============ And especially not like this ================== When putting in a code section, separate it from surrounding text by at least one blank line.
