Woo-hoo! > Some examples of using just the API would be useful. When you say "using just the API", do you mean frobbing the WorkingMemory type of operations, or things more along the lines of the SPI stuff? > Although you provide some info in you docs about Rete, do you > know of any good pointers on the web with more specific info on it? Alas, not really. I haven't been able to track down Forgy's primary source. I've got a few AI books that discuss it some. A few brief lecture notes (some were even incorrect, as I figure it) are available online. And, all-in-all, all descriptions have been targetting to LISPesque notations, where each part of an expression directly maps to a column in a table. So, mixing all of these little half-explanations, I was able to piece together what I thought RETE truly was. I don't know if I could explain RETE from a cold start, but if you have somewhat of a background, I could certainly attempt to answer specific questions. -bob _______________________________________________ drools-interest mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/drools-interest
