I am running a dev board based around the 8555E powerpc processor, running an embedded version of linux with glibc version 2.2.3, kernel 2.4.27, and busybox version .52. I am trying to figure out if there is any way to setup SSH on this machine without updating the glibc libraries, the kernel or busybox. The telnet server is having a hard time connnecting, and I would much rather be using SSH to remote connect into this machine. Is there any way for dropbear to run without glibc version 2.3 or higher? Perhaps an older version ?
