Hello > Try running dropbear with '-F -E' and see if it prints any > error messages. I don't see why it wouldn't work, though
Sorry, it doesnt (besides the usual messages such as No backgrouding, Child connection from..., pubkey auth succeeded) I just get errors like: # channel 5: open failed: connect failed: (full log send by private message to avoid clogging the list) > did you mean "-L 1938:localhost:3128", and "localhost:1938" > in the browser My mistake - it's a typo. Should be 3128 all the way, but your version should work too. I also tried in my .ssh/config LocalForward 3128 localhost:3128 It works with openssh, not with dropbear. I don't understand why. > You shouldn't need -a as an option since > you're connecting to localhost. It was just an wild attempt with command line options :-) > Which version of Dropbear are you using? $SSH_CONNECTION was > added in 0.53. It is 0.52, default from debian squeeze. I can try to 0.53 but unless that was tweaked I feed it won't work. Guylhem
