Using Dropwizard 1.2.2 we noticed that our main log is writing to the file but
never does a log switch/rotate. The request log works fine and also rotates.
We tried several configurations but are not sure what to change. Here is a
snippet from our config.yml.
logging:
level: ERROR
loggers:
"com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.WebComponent": ERROR
"org.skife.jdbi.v2": ERROR
"io.dropwizard.db": ERROR
appenders:
- type: file
currentLogFilename: logs/ server.log
archivedLogFilenamePattern: logs/ server.log.%d.gz
archivedFileCount: 30
archive: true
timeZone: UTC
server:
registerDefaultExceptionMappers: false
applicationConnectors:

The requestLog under server: works fine but the log in the logging section
never rotates. Any help would be greatly appreciated
