Hi, Dropwizard 1.3.x requires Java 8 or later.
If you want to build Dropwizard from scratch, you need at least Maven 3.5.0. You can use the bundled Maven wrapper script for that. As for the version of Docker, that's up to you. It has nothing to do with Dropwizard.
