Hi Robin, Dropwizard uses Jetty for core request/response handling and the underlying management of threads. Dropwizard itself doesn't really do any thread management directly. You can read about Jetty's architecture here https://www.eclipse.org/jetty/documentation/current/architecture.html . It will look fairly similar to what you'd see with Tomcat or most other Java Servlet compliant HTTP servers.
