Jochen, will that solution also handle the issue I found with "HttpConnectorFactory calling metrics.timer(httpConnections()), creating a com.codahale.metrics.Timer…", discussed above? That appeared to be hardcoded into HttpConnectorFactory, and can't be affected by any registry, as far as I can tell.
