hi, i'm planning to build a prototype system like final scratch from stanton. unfortunately i hadn't the possibility to test that sort of system yet. but i read that they use a 40bit digial timecode which is amplitude modulated on a 1200Hz carrier. but which digital encoding is used? some sort of cyclic code or blockcode? (40bits sounds like a lot af redundancy)
