beginning of the harvest season with many fruits to enjoy. As we enjoy the
bounty of this season, we honor our fathers and also those who provide for us
and our families, on behalf of fathers. We also give great thanks to our long
term supporters and volunteers.
For Father's Day, consider helping a child who has lost his or her father. A
father's support is very important to a child. Many children in Afghanistan,
Indonesia and Iran under our programs have lost their fathers or live with
single mothers who can not provide enough for their children. Child Foundation

Recently, the Outreach and Customer Service Manager of Child Foundation,
Hossein Salehi, visited KIRN Radio Iran in Los Angeles to recognize the station
with an award plaque for several years of service to the Persian community and
Child Foundation. KIRN Radio provides invaluable advertising services to
nonprofit organizations such as Child Foundation, because of their charitable
nature, which helps increase sponsorships and donations.Mr. Salehi also visited
long time Child Foundation volunteers in Los Angeles to present them with
certificates of appreciation. Volunteers are an integral part of our team at
Child Foundation. As a Child Foundation volunteer, you have the opportunity to
make new friends, learn new skills and meet others who share your desire to
make a difference in the world, while simultaneously serving as a lifeline for
children in need supported through Child Foundation's programs.
