Join us for the DSpace Interest Group sessions at Open Repositories 2017 [1] to
meet other DSpace users and developers and share your experiences with one
another. Whether you’re a developer, researcher, repository manager,
administrator or practitioner, we would like to hear from you. The DSpace
Interest Group program committee invites your contributions to share, describe
and report on use of the DSpace platform, outlining novel experiences or
developments in the construction and use of DSpace repositories.

Specific areas of interest for OR2017 include:

  *   DSpace 6.0 release
  *   DSpace 7.0 UI work
  *   DSpace-CRIS
  * Integration with separate Research Management systems and other systems
  * Supporting Open Scholarship, Open Data, and Open Science
  *   Repositories and Cultural Heritage
  * Repositories of high volume and/or complex data and collections
  * Managing Research Data, Software, and Workflows
  * Integrating with the Wider Web and External Systems
  * Exploring Metrics, Assessment, and Impact
  *   Managing Rights
  *   Developing and Training Staff

This year’s DSpace Interest Group track will showcase panels, facilitated
roundtable discussions, demonstrations, project updates and presentations of
varying length - indicate the format in your submission [A].

We are particularly interested to hear from members of the Australasian DSpace
community. If you are new to DSpace you will find many opportunities to learn
more about the repository software from your peers in the open source
community. Learn more about the project by visiting the website [2], and join
the DSpace Interest Group at Open Repositories to discuss DSpace with the
project developers and stakeholders.
