Hi, in an institutional repository I want to express references from one publication to other publications (in- and outside the institutional repository) via <dcterms:haspart>, <dcterms:references> etc.
I want to express the references as DOIs. After a user has entered a reference as a DOI, DSpace should get additional metadata from DataCite or CrossRef APIs and save them alongside the DOI. What would be a good way to implement this in DSpace? 1) I don’t see any possibility to have nested metadata like: <dcterms:haspart> <identifier></identifier> <authors></authors> <title></title> [...] </dcterms:haspart> Is there any? 2) Is the authority control functionality that is used for ORCID support an appropriate option for identifying references and saving additional metadata about each reference in the SOLR index? 3) Has anybody already implemented something like this? I am looking forward to your answers. Best regards, Martin. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DSpace Community" group.
