Position: Digital Initiatives Librarian Location: Kansas State University Kansas State University Libraries invite applications and nominations for the position of Digital Initiatives Librarian. This individual will be responsible for leading efforts to advance Kansas State University Libraries' unique collections with enhanced discovery through digitization. The incumbent will lead and participate in the strategic development of innovative, scalable, and sustainable digital collections. The individual will lead the Digital Initiatives Unit and directly supervise 2 FTE, coordinate digitization work between Library units and departments and serve as a member of the Metadata, Preservation, & Digital Initiatives Management Team. This is a full-time 12-month tenure-track position reporting to the Head of Metadata, Preservation, & Digital Initiatives. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to scholarly/creative activities and professional service necessary for pursuing tenure at Kansas State University Libraries<http://www.k-state.edu/academicpersonnel/add/lib/index.html>.
